What is The Moondance Foundation?
The Moondance Foundation is a family charitable foundation, set up by Diane and Henry Engelhardt to further their family’s philanthropy and giving.

The Moondance Foundation is a registered charity (Registered Charity No: 1139224) and a registered company limited by guarantee (Company no: 07448773).

Mission Statement
To prevent or relieve poverty, support the welfare and well-being of women, children, the elderly and the vulnerable in our society, improve health outcomes, raise educational standards and preserve our environment for future generations.
Moondance tries to be as flexible as possible and supports organisations that have a transformational impact in their communities in Wales and beyond.

Where does Moondance's money come from?
Diane and Henry set up the Moondance Foundation in 2010. Henry at the time was CEO of Admiral plc. In 2004 Admiral floated on the London Stock Exchange and Diane and Henry were substantial shareholders in Admiral. They have donated Admiral shares to Moondance and continue to do so on a regular basis; it is these shares that finance and support the Foundation.

How Premier Radio has benefitted from the generous grant.
Through a generous grant from The Moondance Foundation Premier Radio was able to equip a new studio in the heart of Wrexham. As a small community radio station raising funds for projects like ours relies heavily on the generosity of organisations such as The Moondance Foundation.

We are now able to offer free training to people from the community that might like to have the opportunity of becoming the next big radio presenter or setting off on a new career path in media broadcasting. It also enables us to invite guest interviewees into a studio to discuss all manner of topics which our community are keen to learn more about.
